STATUS OF DOGSNOSE.ORG

Dogsnose.org is a non-profit internet resource and communication website established by a group of animal-loving volunteers based in the United Kingdom. It is not a registered company, nor is it registered with the Charity Commission but is operated with full recognition that it is bound by the laws of the United Kingdom as applicable to the type of activity it has been established to undertake.

OWNERSHIP OF THE DOMAIN NAME & ADMINISTRATION

Dogsnose.org is registered to one volunteer Michael Rutherford through www.nominet.org.uk (the UK registrar of domain names). The team creating, administering and currently operating dogsnose.org comprises Gillian Kaloyeropoulos, Michael Rutherford and Tim Steer, all are British citizens.

GLOBAL REACH AND THE LAW

As an internet based organization dogsnose is accessible worldwide via that medium. It complies with the United Kingdom Data Protection Act and would not knowingly breach any national regulations concerning the aim of the site, namely dog rescue support and volunteer dog rescue helper resourcing. Should anyone consider that dogsnose.org has infringed on a law or maybe doing so, then dogsnose.org would welcome such notification in order to undertake remedial action, should it be necessary.

CHILDREN AND DOGSNOSE.ORG

As a matter of principle, dogsnose.org does not accept registrations for helping dog rescues from anyone aged 15 or under. Where that principle is contravened by an individual or that individual is discovered to have misled dogsnose.org and falsely registered, dogsnose.org will remove any such registration. Dogsnose.org cannot be held liable for the actions of individuals in breaking the age rule.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Terms and conditions apply to signing up as a volunteer helper, for use of the dogsnose forums or registering as a bona fide dog rescue wishing to search the helper (HELP DOGS!) database. These are all listed at the point of sign up and require the person signing up to confirm their acceptance. Dogsnose.org reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions should it prove necessary, publishing any changes on the Dogsnose News pages of the site.

This means that they must not be copied or extracts used without the prior permission of dogsnose.org administrators.
